Craving for these? A truly Filipino decadent that melts in the mouth banana fritters wrapped it with fresh homemade spring roll (LUMPIA WRAPPER). I was so craving for TORON but i wouldn't make unless i have the fresh wrapper so what i came up is to experiment some and i was very successful despite i have no right tools to do the thing! Since i have griddle i thought of why not use that for molding the wrapper although it's not a rounded one but it works, i still thinking to get in the future the crepe maker because it is round and for convenient.

Anyway, for the lumpia wrapper i just mix 1 cup of flour to 2 cups of cold water and mix them altogether. The mixture should be like liquidy like texture. Spray the griddle just about not to stick when you start pouring the liquid mixture. Then wait until it fully cooked then just pill it from the griddle gently and slowly set aside or you can directly put the slice plantain/banana. Do the procedure repeatedly.

For the Sauce: I use caramel sauce instead of the traditional (caramelized sugar) I added butter and all purposed whipping cream to the sugar mixture, let it boil till thicken. Pour it to the banana fritters and dash it with confectioner sugar if desire.

Enjoy Cooking!
