This is my version of Japanese rice and roasted glazed ham chop.
Here's the recipe:
FOR JAPANESE RICE:
2cups cooked rice
2gloves garlic chopped
1tbsp vegetable oil
dash of salt and pepper to taste
2tbsp teriyake sauce
3stick of green onions chopped
Combine all the ingredients.
FOR ROASTED GLAZED HAM
1whole ham
1/4cup teriyake sauce
2tbsp brown sugar
2tbsp ketchup sauce
1tbsp honey
salt and pepper to taste
a dash of garlic salt
4tbsp melted butter
4gloves garlic
Combine all the ingredients except the garlic. Make a diamond cut all over the ham and insert the garlic in compass direction. Glazed the liquid mixture over the ham. Preheat oven for 325F, bake ham and place in a shallow roasted pan rack for 2 hours, glazing occasionally. Then after 2hours pour the remaining mixture in the pan then bake it until ham is caramelized brown glazing continue. Use the dripping sauce for gravy.
That be it.. wink!
