Inspired by Korean menu Kalbi-tang or in English beef ribs soup with rice noodles. It was so good even it is just simple and basic soup yet the flavor is so deep and very refreshing specially in a cold days meal. Not to mention soup is always good for regaining energy back when you feeling tired you know. The husband wasn't feeling very good so i make sure he well taking care of :-). He loves it and we all enjoy it!
You need:
6-8 pieces of good cut beef ribs
2 cloves garlic chopped
small size onion chopped
1/2 tsp pepper corn or ground pepper
salt to taste
dash of garlic salt
dash of paprika
1 cup rice noodles
2 stalks of green onion (for garnish)
2 potatoes optional (I add mine for extra)
1 egg
How:
Cleaned beef ribs good. In a deep pot boiled them till very tender approx 1 hour. Take away the residue from boiling. Add garlic, onion, salt, peppers, garlic salt and paprika and continue boiling until fragrant. Now add the potato if desire till tender. Add the rice noodles. Lastly the egg. Stir and simmer for at-least 5 minutes. Serve hot with sprinkle onions for garnish.
